The Dallas Cowboys' decision to start the offense may have played a role in the Eagles defense having a good day in Sunday's win.

Jalen Hurts walked along the bench and slapped the hand of every defensive player after the Eagles forced a field goal following his fumble. “You saw that?” Hurts said. It was the second time that the defense had kept the Cowboys out of the end zone after the quarterback turned the ball over in a short span of the second quarter.

The Cowboys tied a season-high with five turnovers in their loss to the Eagles on Sunday. Of the five turnovers, four were lost fumbles, including one by running back Ezekiel Elliott at the Eagles’ 3-yard line in the second quarter.
