A Concord man is charged with the murder of a woman on Strive Street. The suspect is also accused of taking the victim's cell phone.

A woman was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex in northwest Charlotte, police said. The homicide investigation was on Strive Street at the Ascent at Mallard Creek Apartments off of Odell School Road outside the I-485 loop.
