Sanju Samson scored his second successive hundred in the shortest format, becoming the first Indian player to do so.

Sanju Samson's wife Charulatha Remesh reacted to her husband's blistering century in the first T20I against South Africa.

The century against South Africa was Sanju Samson's second consecutive T20I hundred after the Bangladesh ton in the last T20I of the 3-match series back in October.

After the match on Friday, Samson gave an insight into his aggressive approach while batting in T20Is. "I trust my shot-making ability and approach each ball with an attacking mindset, especially in T20Is. With this approach, there is success and failure as well - there are a lot of questions around me building the innings and consistency."

On the back of a brilliant hundred, Samson made it to the elite list of batters who have made multiple tons as he joined the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul.
